Mr Anvar Rasulev is Chairman of Ansher Holding Limited and Chairman of the Board of Directors of Ansher Group AG. Prior to working in private sector, Mr Rasulev held the top positions in a number of key state bodies (including the Deputy Minister of Finance and the Chairman of the State Commission of Securities and Stock Exchanges of Uzbekistan).

Mr Rasulev is also Chairman of the Board of Directors of the National Association of Investment Institutions, non-government self-regulation organisation, with more than 100 members – participants of securities market of Uzbekistan.

Mr. Rasulev has played important roles in drafting key government legislation in Uzbekistan in such crucial areas as capital markets formation and supervision, taxation, external economic relations and foreign exchange regulation.

On behalf of the Uzbek Government, Mr. Rasulev established relationships with major international organizations with regards to policy implementation in the areas of securities market and external economic relations.

Mr.Rasulev was directly involved in the formation of a number of government institutions in Uzbekistan such as the government bodies responsible for securities market as well as majority of the securities market infrastructure such as the stock exchange, clearing and settlement system, OTC electronic trading system, Privatization Investment Funds and others (over 300 institutions).

By working in private sector and leading the Ansher team since its establishment, Mr. Rasulev has achieved tremendous results. His close relationships with government bodies and other commercial institutions such as banks, his effective coordination and supervision of all Group subsidiaries, have resulted in unprecedented rapid growth of the Group and proved to be a managerial success story. Having achieved astonishing results, Ansher Group AG is planning to become a public company in order to introduce transparent corporate governance principles.
